David Valenti
David Valenti, a Founder of Monument Ventures has worked in venture capital since 1995, leading more than 50 venture financings. Over his career, David has led more than 45 acquisitions totaling over $16 billion. David has also completed over $10 billion in public securities offerings in more than 20 initial public offerings and secondary offerings.
Prior to founding Monument Ventures David served as
investors’ counsel for numerous venture capital funds and corporate investors, including Accenture, Asia Pacific Ventures, Austin Ventures, AV Labs, HIG Capital, Intel 64 Fund, Intel Capital Corporation, Trellis Ventures, and Vignette Corporation.
David is an attorney licensed in the states of California and Texas specializing in venture capital, securities offerings, and mergers and acquisitions. David has served as an officer of numerous public and private technology corporations. David also had a successful career as a Marketing Representative for IBM where he was in the top 2% of all marketing representatives in the United States.
David holds a Bachelor degree in Mathematics from the University of Kansas and a Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from Southern Methodist University.
